His love for Vincent price and the notorious villains of horror fueled his imagination. When he was eight he built his first outdoor Halloween show. Tombstones and eerie music was the start, but as the years went on, the guillotine was born and then the electric chair, pumpkins, chainsaws, meat hooks, ghosts, goblins, and so many other strange items made it to his yard. Robert was also a very intense musician. He wrote and played his first piano sonata when he was twelve. He studied classical music as well as jazz and modern music until one fateful day when he heard the theme to Tales from the Crypt. He knew then even being so young, that was what he wanted to do, to be able to infuse his two favorite things together. Through his teenage years he played piano and percussion for all the local theaters as well as schools. By day he lived a normal teenage life, but by night was a different story. When everyone else was asleep he would slip to his keyboard and record dark, and horrific musical symphonies. His passion fueled by the horror movies he watched and his experiences through out life. In 2006 he graduated from Sachem North High School at the top of the Music Department. He went on to study at the Crane School of Music, specializing in Music Education, Composition and Performance. This was where he perfected his craft. He would spend countless nights wandering the dark and lonely corridors and basements of the school searching for inspiration and motivation. After completing his studies he moved back to Long Island, NY where he finally opened his very own music company Symphonic Sacrifices Inc. Local managers as well as other musicians quickly noticed him. After opening up the company and writing music for some local customers he expanded the company even more by buying more equipment. All his work finally paid off when he performed the world’s first live horror concert. Instantly it was a hit. It was here that he met a good friend as well as mentor, Ed Douglas from Midnight Syndicate. Ed had come to see his concert as well as introduce him on stage. To this day they are still good friends. But there was also another fateful day, October 12th, 2007. This was when Robert met Elsie Martinez-Ginsberg. The two quickly became fast friends with similar musical and horror interests. Elsie would envision an idea and Robert would materialize it. The two of them were working hard on their first project, The Living Dead Mafia. here was lot’s of planning to do. Robert created the music for The Living Dead Mafia in his home studio. He and Elsie worked countless hours to create such a haunting score. Robert Musically Directed the Living Dead Mafia show for the October 2008 Season. Currently he is still wandering the basement of the Ginsberg home writing his horrific symphonies of fright. Robert to this day has written music for some of the best Haunted Attractions in the United States such as Dead End Haunted Attractions, Trail of Terror, Terrorplex, House of the Living Dead, and even the Transworld Haunters Convention. Robert can still be caught playing various shows across Long Island for local theaters as well as performing in the Living Dead Mafia Band, The Living Dead Mafia's two man acoustic act and cohosting The Pod of The Dead Radio show.
